Connecting to thin wall, narrow bore capillary is next to impossible using standard connectors. Metallic connectors are far too massive to be supported by these ethereal filaments and the appropriately sized ferrules are uncommon. Silica Physics uniquely offers a lightweight Press₂Fit™ solution for columns with tiny ODs. These unions accept columns from 0.15mm to 0.375mm OD (0.02mm to 0.25mm ID) permitting quick coupling between narrow columns or to standard diameter columns.

SilcoNert® 2000 Deactivated Narrow Bore Unions for Small Diameter Columns offer superior levels of inertness for assays in small bore columns where injection volumes are small, and traces of reactive compounds are readily lost to any appreciable surface activity.
