Quartz Press2Fit™ Column Repair Union - Siltek/SilcoNert® 2000 Deactivated

Designed for repairing columns, Silica Physics' Press₂Fit™ angled unions minimize stresses on the column at the union opening by matching the tangents to a standard 8” coil. Straight unions force the repaired ends of the column to make a sharp turn (for a column) to enter the union, causing unnecessary stress on the repaired column. If you wish your column repair to last, use an angled union when repairing columns on-cage. These SilcoNert® 2000 (aka Siltek®) deactivated unions make your repair just as inert as the original, unbroken column.
