Silica Physics offers improvements to its popular fused quartz unions. Dimensional tolerances are now much narrower:  tighter dimensional tolerances mean >50% higher flow (less restriction in large bore applications, to no restriction at 0.25mm bore and under) and a wider seal for a more secure connection on any standard column.

Our Press₂Fit™ unions produce seals that are typically two to four times wider than competitor unions. This means your column cut does not need perfection to get a secure seal. 

Silica Physics also added insertion chamfers that make threading a column into the union a breeze.  There’s no longer a need to worry that you may have damaged the cut end by missing insertion. These unions seal on column ODs from 0.32mm to 0.74mm (0.10mm to 0.53mm bore).
